The Student Exchange Programme held at BVB Wayanad Camp Samaveta from 31st January to 2nd February 2025 was a unique and enriching experience for students and teachers. The camp aimed at providing students with opportunities for cultural exchange, hands-on learning, and outdoor exploration in the scenic and historically rich setting of Wayanad.

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Kannur Kendra recently participated in the Samvada programme 2025, which included a visit to the High Court. This program provided a unique opportunity for 32 students and two teachers to engage with the judicial system and gain valuable insights .This was the school's second visit to the High Court,the first being in 2023.

The Class VI students embarked on an enriching educational excursion to the Ice Cream Factory, where they discovered the intricacies of ice cream production.

Students of class VIII were taken for an industrial visit to NEXT ENGINEERING ELECTRICAL CONSULTANTS, Taliparamba on 16 October 2024.

Granthapooja was conducted at 7:45 am in the school auditorium on 13 October 2024 . Bhajans were sung and Pooja was conducted by eminent priests from the temple and books kept for Pooja were distributed to the students present.

Annual Sports Meet was held at Mangattuparamba University Ground on 10 October.

Paediatric Eye Camp was organised in the school in association with Lions Club of Kannur and Abate Eye Hospital.

A grand tools exhibition was organised in the school auditorium on 8 October 2023

A group of 164 students visited the Kannur Fire Station for a demonstration and educational session on fire safety and equipment usage.

A two day capacity building program in English Core was conducted in the Vidyalaya on 30 and 31 August 2024.About 25 teachers from different CBSE schools participated in the workshop.

Hiroshima Day was observed yesterday in school by arranging the bulletin board with articles related to the harms caused by nuclear weapons . A speech was also delivered in the morning assembly on the same.

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Kannur Center celebrated Basheer Day appropriately. Various programs like Basheer memorial lecture, Prashotari based on Basheer's works, exhibition of Basheer's works, theater performances of Basheer's characters were organized.

As a part of International Plastic Bag Free Day different programmes were conducted at school.

International Day against Drug abuse and illicit trafficking The students took the oath "Say Yes to life and No to Drugs" in the morning assembly. A skit was staged during the morning assembly to spread awareness against drug abuse .The students of class 11 conducted an awareness session for lower classes to raise awareness about drugs.

International Yoga Day

International Yoga Day was celebrated at school by organising a variety of activities related to yoga.

Reading Day

As a part of Reading Day different programmes were conducted at school. Exhibition of selected authors and their works was inaugurated by Dr. Vandana ,Rtd. Asst. Professor,Sree Narayana College,Kannur.

A session on Career guidance and Counselling was organised for the students of classes 11 by Brigadier Rajkumar, Indian Army ,Commodore Krishnan, Indian Navy andGroup Captain Sudeep ,Indian Air Force on 13June 2024.

World Environment Day was celebrated in the school with great enthusiasm. The day was marked by various activities and events that would instill in children the importance of replenishing and restoring our environment.

School celebrated 75th Republic day with great Patriotic fervour . The tricolour was hoisted by honourable Chairman of the vidyalaya Shri P Sudhakaran. Honorary Secretary Shri Naveen Lakshmanan , Principal Mrs. Geethanjali Sunil ,Vice Principal Mrs. Premaja OB ,staff and students attended the function .

Our students had the privilege of visiting and participating in the ' Samvada' programme organised by the Kerala High Court on 17 January 2024.The students had a very enlightening and interesting session with Justice Amit Rawal who encouraged the students to question and think out of the school boundaries.
